I'm Alpár Deák, Artist/Teacher/Designer.

They are places in the world where you can meet all the colors. Transylvania my birth place is like that.

Painting

Why I paint?

I have the needed talent and ambition to create, its my way to ad something to the universe. Sometimes I loose my pleasure, watching today’s reality, but I remain a local fighter.

Why I paint like I paint?

I chose a figurative almost realistic way, sometimes even with expressive elements: colors, shapes, textures.

I do experiments, I am not against new expressions, but only if the subject need this type of intervention.

After me the real things comes from the heart and they don’t have anything with fashion and the market.

Why I paint what I paint?

I like the core values of humanity.

Any culture had his own value after my believe. Personally I like to discover that and deliver it to you.

Teaching

My mother was an elementary teacher. Can be the same tradition or some blood line, or from my fathers side, the slow clear talking way with humor and peasant short and quick answers? I just feel I have the attitude and the patience to explain and forgive. In the beginning I believe this can go in parallel with art. Latter I realize no way in this times.
